Welcome to Myrtle in 2024!
Experience the vibrant learning environment of Myrtle, where we have six exceptional students from grades four to six who are supported by our dedicated team of Education Assistants.
At Myrtle, our mission is to empower students with essential life skills and foster independence through engaging in daily routines and activities. From art to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and cooking, our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity and growth.
In addition to our core curriculum, students participate in specialist programs including Swimming, Music, and Perceptual Motor sessions, enriching their educational experience.
Central to our approach is effective communication, where students are encouraged to express themselves using visuals such as PODD and Aided Language Displays, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
