Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

At Carson Street School, the students have weekly opportunities to access our STEM room where they can explore and learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Hands on activities are linked to a specific theme for the term and students have the opportunity to interact with a variety of elements at their individual level. The STEM room is accessible for all Carson Street students and incorporates a range of features  including sensory input through music, visual elements (lights, neon) and tactile items for exploration. Our STEM team is always adapting the STEM room to ensure it continues to be an exciting and engaging space for children to access their education and be active participants in their learning.
